Founded by Design
Scandivans was founded by Sam, whose background is in design and project management as a landscape architect, working on projects across the UK and internationally
Designing at scale, and in diverse environments, shaped an appreciation for restraint, material honesty, and spaces that respond naturally to their surroundings. That perspective underpins everything we do at Scandivans
The idea for Scandivans came from a clear gap in the market: campervans that were technically capable, yet thoughtfully designed, rather than feature-driven interiors
To bring this vision to life, Sam partnered with a product designer and an experienced joiner, combining architectural thinking, product-led problem solving, and craftsmanship. Together, they set out to create campervan interiors that feel beautiful, refined and built to last
Design Principles
Simplicity
We design with restraint, removing anything unnecessary so each space feels calm, clear, and easy to live with. Thoughtful layouts and considered details allow the interior to work effortlessly, without visual or functional clutter.
Function
Materials and systems are chosen for how they perform over time, not how they look on day one. Our builds are intended to age well, both structurally and aesthetically, becoming more familiar and comfortable with use.
Longevity
Every element has a purpose. From storage and seating to systems and circulation, our interiors are designed to support real use — quietly, intuitively, and without compromise.
